First Glance – Jessica Simpson’s Carolina Herrera Wedding Dress Details. Over the holiday weekend Jessica finally married fiance & former NFL star Eric Johnson after a 3 1/2 year long engagement and two kids later. The happy paired exchanged vows in front of 250 friends and family Sat July 5th at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, CA.
“We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love, having made our eternal commitment,” the couple told People in a statement. “To say ‘I do’ in front of family, friends, and most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives.”
We’re of course so happy for the newlywed pair, and now that the wedding is over we get our first look at what the blushing bride wore to her lavish affair. Jessica graced the aisles wearing a stunning Carolina Herrera Wedding Dress with champagne and gold strapless details, and featured multi-layers of tulle. The dress also featured a blue ribbon on the inside for a modern way to wear something blue. To finish off her look Jessica also wore Brian Atwood shoes and Neil Lane jewels. Her hair was kept half up with purple eyeshadow for a fun pop. We of course would expect nothing less than fabulous from the fashion mogul on her big day. While this is only our first look at her wedding gown, we’re sure more pics will be released over the next few weeks, but for now here our the first glances at her stunning bridal look.
